HE KNOWS WHAT IS NEXT

HE KNOWS WHAT IS NEXT

Exodus 15:22-27

In the exodus of the Israelites, they had some issues in the way and the people grumbled against their leader (not knowing that they grumbled against God). But I observed here that at every point when the people had something to complain about, God spoke to their leader. This means that when God calls any man to carry out an assignment for Him, He will not leave him without any ideas on what to do. As long as that person always goes back to God who called in the first place, then there will be a definite answer. Continue reading “HE KNOWS WHAT IS NEXT”

THE WEDDING NIGHT

“We go dey hail, hail, hail, hail … hail your name, name, name, name… day by day. All the way. All the way!” Tayo and Lara screamed and danced. It was their wedding reception! The day they had waited for. Family, friends, well-wishers, haters and “mo gbo, mo ya”* people looked on as the couple had their first dance. TRUE LOVE WAITS

TEXT: GENESIS 29:9-30

Genesis 29:20- So Jacob served seven years for Rachael and they seemed only like a few days to him because of the love he had for her.

Genesis 29:30- Then Jacob also went in to Rachael, and he also loved Rachael more than Leah. And he served with Laban still another seven years.

This is the story of how Jacob waited and served in order to marry a woman that he loved. Vs 21 says, “Then Jacob said to Laban, ‘Give me my wife for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in to her.’” This event occurred at the time when sexual purity was of a very high value.
