July 2016, I finally launched my blog. Before then, I had been writing only on Facebook. However, the message needed to reach a wider platform.

“Iremide, what about those who are not on Facebook? How would they read this?”

“So if I want to check a series you wrote a few months ago, I’ll have to scroll past pictures and other posts before I can locate it? Isn’t there a better way to this?”

These and other questions made me decide to start a blog. I spent quite some time researching how blogs work. My biggest fear? Running out of content. I didn’t want to start something I could not sustain.

The morning after the blog launch/announcement, the Lord woke me with a verse.

“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” John 12:32

And so for the past 55 months, that has been the focus. Christ lifted up. And that will always be my focus.

What about my biggest fear, you ask? Well, I am learning that when the Lord is your source, you cannot run dry.

Today, 180 posts after, it’s time to move from iremideakinsola.wordpress.com to iremideakinsola.com.

I’m grateful to God for His mercies and grace. I’m grateful for the lives that have been blessed. Mine being the first. I’m grateful for the readers who have visited from over 70 countries. I’m grateful for the guest writers for various series. I’m grateful for family and loved ones who correct, cheer and counsel. I’m grateful for you! Your prayers, comments and words of encouragement mean a lot to me.

Jide Odunniyi was a catalyst for this change. Oyindamola Williams did an amazing job on the branding, logo and the new site! It’s so beautiful. Check it out.

So, I’m excited for this new phase! Eagerly awaiting the manifestation of the great plans God has in mind!

“Yet graciously consider the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O LORD my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your servant prays before You today; that Your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, ‘My Name (Presence) shall be there,’ that You may listen to the prayer which Your servant shall pray toward this place.” 1 Kings 8:28-29

Soli Deo Gloria ❤️
